Muse have revealed the official song of this year's Olympic Games, 'Survival', which is taken from their new album, 'The 2nd Law'. Listen below.

Starting with a classical interlude, 'Survival' captures many of Muse's biggest influences, sounding in parts like Queen, a heavy metal band and also an orchestra.

Speaking about 'Survival', Matt Bellamy of Muse says: "'Survival' is the official song of the London 2012 Olympic Games. It will be heard throughout the competition, such as when the athletes enter the stadium, at medal ceremonies and across TV coverage internationally. "

Adding: "It's a huge honour to have the track chosen as such a major part of the London 2012 Olympic Games. I wrote it with the Games in mind as it expresses a sense of conviction and determination to win."

Meanwhile, Muse will go on tour later this year in support of 'The 2nd Law'. You can see the full dates below. Ticket details and information is available here.
