Pearl Jam brought Day 2 of the Isle Of Wight festival to a suitably grungey close, performing a set of their greatest hits to thousands of fans.

The 90's veterans performed classic tracks, including 'Better Man' and 'Daughter', in one of their biggest live dates of the year. Fans were also treated to signature song 'Alive' in a mammoth live show.

Elsewhere on Day 2 came performances from Biffy Clyro, road-testing new material ahead of their double album release, as well as Tinie Tempah, Jessie J and Madness.

The first day of Isle Of Wight saw Lana Del Rey and Tom Petty impressing a rain-soaked crowd.

Many festival goers suffered hours of misery on Thursday and Friday after terrible weather conditions left the festival car park inaccessible, forcing early arrivals to sleep in their cars on Thursday night - while others were stranded on ferries or were forced to seek shelter in a local football club.

Isle Of Wight 2012 concludes today (June 24) with a headline performance from the one and only Bruce Springsteen.
