Radio One DJ Nick Grimshaw has revealed he is bracing himself for a string of diva demands from Rihanna at this weekend's Hackney Weekend, following a previous run-in with the pop megastar.

The radio host has revealed rumours that Rihanna has already begun issuing requests for her weekend performance, which sees the star join the likes of Jay-Z, Kasabian, Nicki Minaj and many more on the stage at the East London event.

‘I’ve heard rumours of Rihanna having six outfit changes, which is my favourite thing,’ said Grimshaw in an interview with The Metro. ‘I think Jay-Z will want good stuff.’

He also spoke of being lied to by Rihanna's staff at a previous meeting, who claimed she was running late due to work commitments - but was really just watching telly.

"Everyone was really apologetic. They were saying, 'Oh she’s had a really busy morning, she’s been doing promo all day and she’s really tired and she’s really, really busy. She’ll get here when she can'," he added.

"She came in and just started this yawn and I was like, 'Oh hi, how are you? Have you had a busy morning?' and she was, like, “No I’ve just been watching TV all day.'"
