Muppets star Kermit the Frog has named Adele as the artist he’d most like to collaborate with.

Kermit told OK Magazine that he’d love to duet with her after being asked which actors or singers he admires. The green frog said: “It would be fun to duet with Adele one day.”

But Miss Piggy immediately said: “Sorry Adele, the frog isn’t available any time soon.”

Previously, Kermit has said that he’d also love to work with dubstep star Skrillex after admitting that electronic music is difficult to find in the swamp. He added: “I'd love to collaborate with an electronic artist and I'd love to work with Skrillex, even though I've never heard his music. We don’t get electronic music in the swamp. There's something about electricity and water that just doesn't mix.”

Miss Piggy agreed, adding: “Moi simply can't sit still when Moi hears dubstep. The bass is so powerful and the whole effect is so mesmerising and overwhelming! If I were a kind of music, I'd be dubstep.”

The Muppets is out now on DVD.
