Madonna kicked off her world tour in Tel Aviv, Israel last night, (May 31).
Performing at the Ramat Gan Stadium, Madonna performed a greatest hits set including tracks from her latest album 'MDNA' as well as classics such as 'Holiday' and 'Get Into The Groove'.
Urging her fans to promote peace, Madonna reportedly said: "If there is peace here in the Middle East, there can be peace in the whole world."
"I chose to start my world tour in Israel for a very specific and important reason." Adding: "You can't be a fan of mine and not want peace in the world, we all bleed the same colour." There was also a moment where Madonna appeared onstage with a machine gun, smashing a plate glass wall behind her.
There was also a first airing for the much publicised mash up of 'Express Yourself' and Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' with Madonna reportedly shouting ''She's not me!" during the section.
Madonna's world tour continues throughout the Summer, reaching the UK in July.
