US rapper Nicki Minaj has spoken of her sadness at the death of a fan after watching her Tokyo concert.
Irish exchange student Nicola Furlong died hours after attending a Nicki Minaj show in Japan. She was found dead in her hotel bedroom.
Minaj tweeted: "Saddened to learn one of my precious fans; found tragically in Japan. My love & prayers are with the family of Nicola Furlong."
Two men have been arrested in connection with the fan's death. She was due to return home in July.
Nicki Minaj recently used Twitter to offer Tim Westwood a career life-line after the loss of his Radio One show. She invited the DJ to move to America after hearing of his axing.
