The Red Hot Chilli Peppers have begun hinting at plans for their next project, which looks set to be a series of vinyl and digital releases, including b-sides and other previously unreleased music.

18 tracks in total are planned for the release over the next six months, however titles and a schedule are not known. Band members Flea and Chad Smith revealed on Twitter that there will be a total of ten b-sides from their recent release 'I'm With You'.

Chad Smith tweeted, "Hi! Over the next 6 months at least 10 more IWU b sides I promise!"

"7 inch vinyl and digital.stay tuned"

Flea added: "Yes we have been writing stuff while touring. We are also going to put out 18 new songs over the next 6 months on 7 inch and digi"

The projects details have been slowly leaking over the last few days, starting with Anthony Kiedis first informing a Grand Rapids crowd, "We gotta storm of seven inches coming out over the next six months. Keep one eye open."
