US actor Nick Stahl has been reported missing in Los Angeles, according to US reports.

The star of cinema and TV has not been seen since 9 May, 2012 and his wife has filed a missing person's report, amid concerns his disappearance may be drug related. It is thought he may be in the Skid Row area of the city.

US website TMZ reports the details, claiming that Stahl has been known to frequent the downtown area, known for drugs and homelessness. His wife had previously contact LA police over concerns that he was involved in drugs. Stahl's reps have refused to comment on the disappearance.

Stahl is best known for his movie roles in films such as Terminator 3, Sin City and Bully. He also starred in cult US drama Carnivale.
