US rapper has announced that her debut EP, '1991' is set for a release before the end of May.
The '212' star, who recently cancelled a string of UK festival dates, announced the release date on Twitter. '1991' is set for digital release on 29 May, 2012 and set for physical release on 12 June.
She also unveiled the artwork for the EP, which sees the star topless, dressed in leather with bright red hair. So far, so Rihanna.
The EP is epxected to include her Top 20 single '212', the Diplo-produced 'F**k Up The Fun' and recently premiered new track, 'Jumanji'.
Azealia Banks recently revealed a behind-the-scenes feud with rapper Lil'Kim after a falling out over lyrics Banks had penned for the rap queen for a planned duet.
