Sir Paul McCartney's wealth has risen by £150m since marrying wife Nancy Shevall, shooting him up the music millionaires list.
McCartney's stock in the Sunday Times' Top 50 Music Millionaires in Britain and Ireland had fallen following his costly divorce from Heather Mills. However, new wife Shevall has a holding stake in her family's haulage firm worth £150m, boosting McCartney's assets up to £665m and seeing him climb the list.
Elsewhere on the list there is a new entry for Daniel Ek, founder of music streaming service Spotify. He is worth a reported £190m, putting him joint tenth in the list with Mick Jagger and David and Victoria Beckham.
Other recognisable names in the top 1000 music millionaires 2012 include Coldplay's Chris Martin and wife Gwyneth Paltrow (worth a joint £72m) and Gary Barlow, reputed to be worth £50m after earning £12m in the past year.
