Dave Grohl is currently working on a documentary, the focus of the project being Sun City Studios, where Nirvana recorded 'Nevermind'. Fittingly, he is recording a soundtrack for the film, which should be finished this autumn.
Working with Grohl are former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic and producer Butch Vig, who has described the score as "a work in progress."
Vig added: "We're not really sure how it's all gonna end up at this point but it's been fun. There's still quite a bit more work to do and we hope to finish up in the next three or four months".
As well as 'Nevermind', the studio that Grohl is documenting also hosted the making of Slipknot's 'Iowa' and Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumours'.
Dave Grohl was recently in the news after Courtney Love called him "a piece of shi*t", despite conceding "he's a good drummer". The Foo Fighter was in trouble for allegedly flirting with Courtney's daughter as well as sleeping with three of her bass players.
