Of all the drug/sex related debauchery Russell Brand has been involved with, the scandal that may see him finally come unstuck might be one involving a photographer, an iPhone and a broken window.

The British funnyman is wanted by New Orleans police after he lost his temper when he saw a photographer taking photos of him on his iPhone, it has been reported.

According to TMZ, he is said to have jumped out of his car, snatched the snappers mobile phone from his hand and then threw it through a law firm's window.

Taking to his Twitter page, Brand said: ‘Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iphone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory.’

Snapper Timothy Jackson is now accusing the Forgetting Sarah Marshall actor of criminal damages.
