Canadian singer Alanis Morissette has defended Eminem’s outspoken and often controversial lyrics.Morissette is insisting that the rapper sets a good example to other by expressing his anger through music rather then actions, reports ContactMusic.
The singer who has in the past been criticised for her explicit lyrics has said she is inspired by the rapper’s lack of censorship in his music, though she does not agree with all of his opinions.
She said: "I adore Eminem's lack of censorship. His music shows how anger expressed through art is so much less destructive than acting it out in day-to-day life.
"I don't agree with all of his opinions, but I don't think it's a matter of having to agree or disagree with him, as much as behold him. I can appreciate the place from which he writes."
