The latest Avengers movie trailer has appeared online – you can watch it below.
The new promo sees a host of superheroes including Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) join forces for the first time.
From what this trailer shows, the movie begins with the world at war with alien invaders.
As previously reported The Avengers is to be released in 3D.
Joss Whedon's Marvel ensemble piece will also be released in the standard 2D format, Walt Disney Studios has revealed.
The Avengers is released on April 26, 2012.
