Alex Turner Moves On From Alexa Chung With Arielle Vandenberg - Pics

It seems Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner has well and truly moved on from former girlfriend Alexa Chung.

Turner and Alexa, who had been dating for four years, split last year but are said to have remained friends.

A spokeswoman for Chung the time said: 'It's completely amicable - but yes it's true. They have split.'

Earlier this week, Turner was photographed arriving at LAX airport with his bandmates for their forthcoming US tour.

The frontman was greeted by American actress Arielle Vandenberg, who he is believed to have been dating since September last year.

The Arctic Monkeys will be supporting The Black Keys on their El Camino tour, which kicks off in March and finish in June.

Meanwhile, Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner has admitted that he's a 'romantic fool' when it comes to his song writing habits.

The singer has spoken about the ballad that appear on the band's new album 'Suck It And See'.

When asked by the Baltimore Sun how he wrote the ballads on the band's new album, Turner said: "I am a romantic fool, no doubt about that. I can't help myself but write those songs. I spend a bit of time sitting on the couch with an acoustic guitar — taking breaks, having a cigarette, going to the window then going back. When you do that, you end up doing a lot more of that romantic stuff, probably too much."
