Katy Perry To Keep £28 Million Fortune In Russell Brand Divorce

Katy Perry is set to keep her £28 million fortune in her divorce settlement with Russell Brand.

The singer, who filed for divorce from Brand on December 30 after 14 months of marriage, didn't sign a pre-nup.

According to the Forbes rich list Perry is worth a nice tidy sum of £28 million, whilst her former husband is worth £4 million.

Under California law Brand is entitled to half of her singer's fortune but has reportedly told Perry that he doesn't want of it.

Meanwhile, Travie McCoy has been comforting former girlfriend Katy Perry after her split from husband Russell Brand.

The Gym Class Heroes singer, who split from Perry in 2009, said the pair would always have a connection.

Travie has told The Mirror: "There will always be a connection between us. I'll always be there for her. When you've been in a relationship like ours, you will always make time for that person."

He added: "Katy was there for me through my hard times when things were really bad. Life goes on. I have regrets about the way we ended. But there are no grudges any more between us. I’ll always be there for her, she knows that.
