Pete Doherty has received damages from the publishers of former newspaper News Of The World following their phone hacking scandal.
Doherty was awarded an undisclosed amount in damages from News International as part of 15 settlements agreed earlier today (February 8).
Other celebrities who also have been handed a paid settlement include Steve Coogan, former government communications director Alastair Campbell, Paul Gascoigne, football agent Sky Andrew, MP Simon Hughes, jockey Kieren Fallon and racing trainer Samantha Wallin.
However, singer Charlotte Church has refused to settle with NGN, which is the newspaper publishing subsidiary of News International.
Last month 37 claims were settled by NGN including Jude Law and PR guru Max Clifford after it admitted intercepting messages on claimants' mobile phones.
