Pulp will receive this year's Teenage Cancer Trust Outstanding Contribution To Music Award
The Sheffield band will pick up the awards at the O2 Academy Brixton ceremony on February 29 at the NME awards.
Pulp have hinted that they could return for more shows in 2012.
The band, who reformed last year for a series of festival headline slots and shows, posted a message to fans over Twitter.
Which simply said: "You think this is over?"
Pulp played their 'final' show Ireland's Electric Picnic festival in September of last year. Frontman Jarvis Cocker told the audience:
This may be the last time we're ever all on stage together again."
