Lady Gaga's new restaurant has been slammed by a top New York food critic on its opening night.
The Italian eaterie Joanne run by her father was slated it in his New York Post review entitled You'll Gag on the Food at Gaga's, reports The Sun.
The food critic, Steve Cuozzo, wrote: "Acrid-smelling burnt vinegar wafted intermittently through the raucous dining room."
Cuozzo said he had to wait 50 minutes for a start of calamari that was "like leather" and his salad "unseasoned" and his pasta "flaccid".
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga will launch her Born This Way Foundation later this month, it has been announced.
The non-profit organization will focus on issues such as empowerment for young people. A statement on the foundations official site states “This Way, Towards Bravery. Where Youth Are Empowered. This Way, Towards Acceptance. Where Humanity is Embraced. This Way, Towards Love. Where Individuality is Encouraged.”
