Lana Del Rey has revealed that she plans to re-release her 2010 album put out under her first name Lizzy Grant.
The singer, who release her debut 'Born To Die' under stage name Lana Del Rey on Monday (January 30), recorded the first record for $10,000 with producer David Kahne.
"I had signed to an independent label but they couldn't fund the release of it," Del Rey told BBC Newsbeat.
"People act like it's so shrouded in mystery, the 'forgotten terrible album'.
"But if you look on YouTube, all 13 tracks are available with millions of views, so it's not like no-one's heard them. We were all proud of it. It's pretty good."
"I'm re-releasing it, maybe in late summer."
Earlier this week Lana Del Rey pulled out of her scheduled performance as part of MTV's Brand New For 2012 show in London (January 24).
The singer was due to take to the stage at London's KOKO to perform three tracks but pulled out due to illness.
The show featured performances from The Maccabees and Charlie XCX.
A number of fans have hit out at the singer for the last minute cancellation, one wrote over Twitter: ''I travelled all the way from Manchester to see Lana..very disappointed.''
While another added: ''Good way to start building a relationship with UK fans.''
