The Nephew of Hip Hop superstar Jay-Z has died from injuries sustained in a car crash in Pennsylvania a spokesman from Def Jam records has confirmed.
Colleek D. Luckie died after the crash which occurred last Tuesday (June 28) while a friend, Roscoe G. Neely, escaped with minor injuries reports Allhiphop.com.
According to sources, the car the pair were travelling in drifted across the road into on coming traffic crashing head on into a tractor. After the collision the vehicle struck a telephone pole and careered 300 ft through a field.
Apparently the vehicle they were driving was bought by Jay-Z for his nephew who he has made numerous references of to in his songs including in ‘Heart Of The City (Ain’t No Love)’ from ‘The Blueprint.
Jay-Z was reportedly especially close to his nephews and once said: "I carry my nephews like my sons, always have and they have filled that void for me."
