The Best Festival Line-Ups 2012 Results: Reading, Benicassim, Isle Of Wight

So as you work off your Christmas weight in a bid to get your festival body back, we are here with some  inspiration for you.

A few weeks ago, Gigwise asked  for your thoughts on this summer's up and coming festival line-up's, and vote for who you thought had the strongest bill.

There are appearances from Wireless, Latitude and Benicassim but who will finish top of our poll?
So in the words of Davina McCall 'the votes have counted and verified' and the results are in.

In other festival news, it was announced last Thursday (January 19) that this year's Big Chill Festival, would be cancelled due to the Olympic Games being held in London. Festival Republic managing director, Melvin Benn said “It is with a considerable amount of regret that I have decided not to go ahead with The Big Chill in 2012.

''I looked long and hard late last year at moving the date so it didn’t clash with the Olympics but the mix of the festival fans desire to keep the date and an inability to find an alternative date that works''
