Oasis were forced to delay their gig at the City of Manchester stadium on Saturday night after the front barriers collapsed.
While Noel was trying to calm down the ten’s of thousands of punters, Liam was busy telling the staff at the ground that they were gong to be sacked.
He said: “You don’t get this at Live 8! Anyone would think we’re trying to stretch the set out!”
The delay only lasted 10 minutes and the audience went on to enjoy a storming show from the Gallagher brothers.
Their UK tour will take Oasis next to Southampton, Milton Keynes, Newcastle and Dublin before playing at a number of European festivals including the V Festival.
