Green Day's former US label Lookout! Records has closed down.
The independent punk label, which released Green Day's first two albums, was founded in 1987.
Lookout! Record stopped officially stopped releasing new music in 2006 but has now closed its doors for good.
Former Lookout! Records artist Ted Leo announced the shut down of the label on his website:
Our beloved Lookout! Records, which ceased releasing new material in 2006, but carried on keeping the catalog in print until this past December, has, sadly, shuttered its windows for good.
The label also released material by Operation Ivy, The Donnas, Avail, Screeching Weasel and The Queers.
Meanwhile, Tickets for Green Day's American Idiot musical UK tour have gone on sale.
The musical, which has been a huge hit in Broadway after it's run earlier this year, will embark on a full UK tour next Autumn.
The production, inspired by the band's career, closed following over 400 performances at St James Theater in New York in April.
