Rhianna has hit out against the mainstream music industry claiming “nobody else is in my league”.
The singer, who released latest album 'Talk That Talk' at the end of last year, said no fellow female artists are doing the same thing as her.
In an interview with Look magazine, Rihanna said: There's competition everywhere. The whole music industry is competition” before stating that Beyonce is an inspiration saying she “Is a great artist and I feel honoured to be mentioned in the same sentence but we're different performers with different styles”.
Rhianna was one of the many celebrities to congratulate Beyonce on Twitter over the birth of her baby girl Blue Ivy Carter saying: “Welcome to the world princess Carter. Love Aunty Rih”.
The American star was earlier this month named the biggest selling digital artist of all time, outselling even her biggest inspiration Madonna.
