Lily Allen has reignited her feud with Girls Aloud over Twitter, following comments about Sarah Harding's assault charges.
Allen, who gave birth to a baby girl last November, took to Twitter earlier today (January 4) to comment on recent news that Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding is facing assault charges following claims she violently attacked her boyfriend.
Lily wrote over Twitter: "Wow 40% of Girls Aloud will have been charged with assault."
The comment referred to Cheryl Cole, who infamously was found guilty of assaulting a toilet attendant in 2003.
Showbiz journalist Dan Wooton blasted Allen's tweet: "Based on an irrational hate of Girls Aloud who told the truth about her. And they are a 'proper band'."
This prompted Lily to reply: "Errrrr inaccurate ! I LOVE girls aloud 'Promise' is mine and Sam's song."
Lily Allen has previously clashed with Girls Aloud when she was labelled as a "chick with a d**k' by Cheryl Cole.
In an open letter to Cole, Lily Allen responded: "Cheryl, if you're reading this, I may not be as pretty as you, but at least I write and sing my own songs without the aid of Auto-Tune. I must say, taking your clothes off, doing sexy dancing and marrying a rich footballer must be very gratifying, your mother must be so proud, stupid bitch."
