Bloc Party will release a new album with singer Kele Okereke, it has been confirmed.
The singer, who was thought to have been sacked from the band last year, confirmed that he will reunite with the band for new material.
Following reports that Okereke had left the band, they posted an image of the lineup which included the singer alongside the caption: "Bloc Party is still Bloc Party."
During an interview with Zane Lowe on Radio 1 this morning (January 3) Okereke has revealed that a new Bloc Party album with himself on lead vocals, set for release later this year.
The band have been on hiatus since they completed touring their third album, 2008's 'Intimacy', in 2009.
Kele released his latest EP 'The Hunter' on October 31.
