Organisers of Ireland's Oxegen festival have announced that the event has been cancelled for 2012 and will be taking a year off.
Festival promoters MCD announced that the festival, which usually takes place at Punchestown Racecourse in Naas, will be like Glastonbury be back in 2013.
A statement said: Oxegen like Glastonbury is taking a year off in 2012 and will be back July 2013. Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas & peaceful New Year. Keep rockin' in 2012 and we will see you in 2013.
Acts that appeared on the bill this year included Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Blink-182 and Arctic Monkeys.
