The Fiery Furnaces Slag Off Franz Ferdinand

Is there trouble brewing in the house of love that is The Fiery Furnaces and Franz Ferdinand?! It would seem so!

While all seemed rosy in the world of Alex Kapranos and Eleanor Friedberger (Having been going out with each other for a while), it may all have turned sour all of a sudden. Last night some one associated with The Fiery Furnaces (A band member maybe?) used their MySpace.com profile to slag off Mr Kapranos.

They posted a bulletin on the site entitled: “something about that 10 cent haircut bastard from franz”, and then went on to make a sarcastically scathing attack on Kapranos and Franz Ferdinand.

The post read: “Franz Ferdinand have revealed a full track listing for their new album including a song titled "Eleanor, put your boots back on"

“Who knows what the lyrics are, but it should be interesting for all of us to read. However, it won't be as interesting as any Fiery Furnaces lyric because Alex Kapranos is a chump and doesn't deserve Eleanor anyway.”

Oo-er, there’s trouble in that art rock paradise then, move over The Killers Vs The Bravery  and your paltry American Civil war a north European battle could be about to begin!
