Zutons front man Dave McCabe has just been confirmed as one of the opening acts for the annual Independents Day night in Liverpool this Friday.
McCabe will be joined by one more as yet unknown Zuton for a special acoustic set that will open the loft stage at the event that is being held at Liverpool’s Barfly. As reported on Monday by Gigwise Indie Day is a day for independent record labels giving them a chance to get together.
Other acts set to perform include 28 Costumes and Voo (Spank Records) Tuco (Robot Records), Civita (Black Sheep), Snap Ant and Pop Levi (Invicta Hifi), The Vagabonds (Lowski Records), The Cardinals (B-Unique/Storm Media) and The John Smith Band (Ping Pong Records).
Check it out at the Liverpool Barfly, July 1. Tickets cost a mere £1 before 8pm and £3 before 10pm.
