X Factor bosses have denied claims that the show has been fixed so finalist Amelia Lily will win.
Reports emerged this morning that a 'winner's single' by contestant Amelia Lily appeared on the HMV website for pre-order.
The website link, which has now been taken down, only had a pre-order option for finalist Amelia Lily and not fellow contestants Little Mix and Marcus Collins.
Caren Davis, head of publicity for The X Factor, has now said in a statement: 'This is absolutely nothing to do with The X Factor, HMV have admitted this was due to a technical error on their site."
HMV have also addressed their error, claiming: "It's just come to light that there was a technical issue uploading details of two of the artists to our site, which meant that only Amelia Lily's details appeared."
"However, these have been temporarily removed so that all three finalists' details will go up simultaneously tomorrow morning. Once up, fans will be able to pre-order the single by their preferred finalist but only orders for the eventual Winner's Single will be processed and charged for."
They added: "This was due to an unforeseen technical issue, and nothing further should be construed from it."
Coldplay, Leona Lewis, Michael Buble, JLS and One Direction will perform at the X Factor final at Wembley Arena.
The live finals will this year take place at Wembley Arena on December 10-11.
