The X Factor Accused Of Fixing Amelia Lily As 'Winner'

The X Factor has been accused of fixing the results of this weekend's final results, after a 'winner's single' by contestant Amelia Lily appeared on the HMV website for pre-order.

The website link, which has now been taken down, only had a pre-order option for finalist Amelia Lily and not fellow contestants Little Mix and Marcus Collins.

One fan, who spotted the single for sale, told The Sun: "I was pretty shocked - I was just browsing the upcoming releases and spotted it.

"I assumed it was something that would allow you to buy the single of whoever went on to win. But the only option was to buy Amelia Lily's song - there was no option for Marcus or Little Mix.

Adding: "I had to wonder whether the result of the show was known somehow by the store. I was shocked."

A spokeman for HMV today said: "It was an error. We are putting all three singles up so people have a chance to pre-order them all. But only the actual winner's song will be processed."

Litle Mix are currently the bookies favourite to win this year's X Factor after making it to the final on Sunday night (December 4).

The band have become the first girl group ever in the history of the show to make it to the final.

Bookies made the girl band - Jade Thirlwall, 18, Jesy Nelson, 20, Perrie Edwards, 18, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 19 - 4/5 on to win.

Marcus Collins, 23, is 11/10 second favourite and Amelia Lily, 17, is 5/2 with Ladbrokes.

Coldplay, Leona Lewis, Michael Buble, JLS and One Direction will perform at the X Factor final at Wembley Arena.

The live finals will this year take place at Wembley Arena on December 10-11.
