Bradley Cooper has said that a third installment of The Hangover will go ahead.
Despite universally negative reviews, box office receipts for the second part of the 2009 comedy proved so large that a threequel was never really in any doubt.
Cooper told The Graham Norton Show: "I hope we'll start shooting next September. I know (director) Todd Phillips is working on the script. We stuck to the formula in the second one but the third would need to close the trilogy. I think it'll take place in L.A. and not adhere to the structure."
Starring Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha, The Hangover Part II was set in Shanghai, and was, perhaps, the worst movie released in 2011.
The Hangover Part III could be released in 2013.
