Example has described the sound for his new album as 'The Strokes produced by Skrillex'.
The rapper is currently working on his new album, the follow-up to 2011's Playing In The Shadows,
Asked by NME what his new material will sound like, he replied: "The Strokes produced by Skrillex, or The Strokes produced by Chase & Status."
He added that the lyrics will focus on "gangstas and hoes": "I've learned that's not what I should sing about, that's not what every young boy wants to hear in music."
"I would rather sing about cocaine than being inside someone's muff. Cocaine doesn't really offend anyone. But being inside the muff does."
Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg and Example are among the acts confirmed for next year's Snowbombing festival in Austria.
The rapper will headline the event alongside other acts The Vaccines, Example and DJ Shadow.
