A source close to The Stone Roses has revealed that they have recently rehearsed together, strengthening rumours the legendary band are reforming.
The revelation comes just days after Ian Brown played a show peppered with Stone Roses classics at his headline set on Glastonbury’s Other Stage on Sunday evening (June 26).
Rumours have been rife in recent weeks that the band are reforming after Ian Brown was joined by Mani onstage at a show at Blackpool Empress Ballroom. A week later, Mani and Reni were spotted together at a Coral gig in Manchester.
It’s unclear whether John Squire was with the band at the rehearsal. Due to his long-standing war of words with Ian Brown and detachment with the band members, it’s thought he will be the toughest egg to crack to rejoin the group.
