The Darkness have announced details of a one-off show, set to take place next year.
The newly reformed band will play a special show in Thetford Forest on July 14. The band are the first act to be unveiled for the Forestry Commission's 2012 Forest Tours.
The band's frontman Justin Hawkins said of the show: "I have often walked through Thetford Forest, enchanted by bird-song, mesmerised by the rhythm of nesting squirrels. My urge to fill the trees with music of my own can no longer be denied. Thetford has provided The Darkness with much enchantment and inspiration over the years. It's time we gave something bark."
The Darkness are currently on tour in the UK and Ireland tour throughout November.
The six-date jaunt will be the group's first full tour since they reformed earlier this year to begin work on a new album.
The tour kicks off at the Academy in Liverpool on November 8 and concludes at Belfast's Ulster Hall on December 5.
