Dr. Dre has revealed that he is planning to take a 'break from music'.
The rapper has yet to release his long-awaited album 'Detox', which was expected to drop earlier this year.
Dre Dre has now stated he will go on hiatus once he has completed his current production duties for other artists.
In an interview with World Entertainment News Network, Dre said:
"I think that's when I'm gonna just wrap it up for a minute because I've been working on music for 27 years now," he said, in reference to completing his current projects and his future plans. "The longest I've ever been out of the studio in 27 years is two weeks."
Singles 'Die Hard', 'Kush' and 'I Need A Doctor', which also featured Eminem, were released earlier this year.
