Northern Irish outfit Two Door Cinema Club will headline the 2012 leg of the NME Awards Tour.
The indie three piece will have support from the excellent Metronomy, the hotly-tipped Tribes, along with Azealia Banks.
The tour will start in O2 Academy Glasgow on 8 February of next year, before taking the bands to Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham, Leeds, Norwich, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, Bournemouth, finishing up many days later at O2 Academy Brixton London on 25 February.
Two Door Cinema Club singer Alex Trimble told NME of the privilege the band felt by being chosen as top billing:
"We feel a real sense of achievement to have made it this far and be one among the incredible list of headliners on the NME Awards Tour."
