Cardiff-based indie sevenpiece Los Campesinos! started their UK tour with a special matinee show at Camden Barfly yesterday afternoon (November 6).
The band, whose new album 'Hello Sadness' is set for release next Monday on Wichita, were in impressive form in front of die-hard fans who got up early enough to bag one of only 200 tickets to the intimate show.
Los Campesinos! played a selection of tracks from their first three records as well as showcasing new songs from their forthcoming record.
A highlight of the gig came at the start of stand-out number 'We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed' when - at singer Gareth's request - a beer bought by a fan and passed to him from the bar at the back to the stage just in time for the song to kick in.
The group play London again tonight at King's College, before embarking on a full UK tour.
