French electro outfit Justice have spoken to Gigwise about their new album, that they don't feel expectation on the back on their last record and how their signature cross is taking all the credit on stage.
The duo - Parisians Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay - told us that they didn't feel the heat of the critics after the enormous success of debut album '†'.
"We did not recieve too much pressure because we still don't really know what worked in the first album. We have no ideawhat people expect of us, so we just cleared our minds of thinking about trying to please people."
The electro-rockers also spoke of the reasons why second album 'Audio, Video, Disco' took so long in the making.
"If feels like it's been 10 years of us relaxing, so I guess it's time for us to work a bit. But that's time we take a long time to make things, because we just like to take our time."
Adding: "The record actually sounds like exactly what we imagined when we started it."
The pair joked that while they are looking forward to getting back into touring, their signature fluorescent cross that they use as part of their stage set-up is stealing their limelight.
"The cross is taking all the credit, we're just the backing band," they said. "When we first light up the cross with no music on, it's like when the singer walks out on the stage."
