Pink Floyd's Dave Gilmour's son Charlie has lost his appeal against the 16-month prison sentence his was given back in July.
In May, the 21-year-old Cambridge University student pleaded guilty to Violent Disorder after he was seen hanging from a Union Jack flag on the Cenotaph in London.
He was also found to have leapt on the bonnet of a car which formed part of a royal convoy carrying Prince Charles.
At the Court of Appeal today (October 28), Lord Justice Hughes aid that he was unable to state that the sentence given to Gilmour was "arguably either manifestly excessive or wrong in principle", reports the Press Association.
During the previous trial Charile Gimour admitted he had taken LSD and valium before the incident .
