Rocksteady have once again spoken of their desire to make more Batman games.
Batman: Arkham Asylum was universally praised for revitalising the superhero genre when it was released in 2009, and follow-up Batman: Arkham City is already being spoken of as being the best release of 2011, even before its official release.
The company's game director Sefton Hill told USA Today: "For us, we are evaluating what to do next. It's safe to say we are huge Batman fans. From a personal point of view, it's a real privilege to get to work on a Batman game. It is something that I love and enjoy. But what we are doing next, we have not finalized yet. But there are definitely, we feel, plenty more stories to tell in this world and Batman is definitely something that excites and inspires us."
Dax Ginn had recently told CVG: "I mean I think as long as we're still enjoying it and as long as we feel we can contribute to the Batman universe, [we will continue]. That's how it feels."
Batman: Arkham City is released on PS3 and XBox 360 on October 21, hitting PCs in November.
Must play games for Christmas...
