EA Sports have said that some XBox 360 gamers playng FIFA 12 may be experiencing difficulties connecting to the game's servers as a result of them being a "dedicated gamer and (having) a lot of save files on (their) hard drive."
Gamerzines reports that FIFA 12's Community Manager, known as "EA_Yasha", took to the official EA forums to tell fans of the series that the company had "identified this problem", which sees users thrown back into the title screen when trying to load up FIFA 12's Ultimate Team mode, or when attempting to join a Head To Head Seasons game.
They commented that EA "will be addressing it in a future title update."
In the meantime, EA has issued a temporary fix for those players eager to play the game to its fullest, although it requires them to transfer their FIFA 12 data files to a USB memory stick.
FIFA 12 is available on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC, PSP, DS and 3DS.
Must buy games for Christmas...
