Call of Duty Elite has been released in beta form on the XBox 360.
Gamers can now play the invite-only beta, which right now takes the form of a great deal of stats, and not much else.
The service will be officially launced when Modern Warfare 3 is released in November.
The service enables players to connect with other CoD users, compete in events and competitions, and improve their in-game skills by analysing their statistics and performance.
More limited invitations will be sent out in the coming weeks, with the beta being activated in phases to allow for future testing.
Activision boss Bobby Kotick has previously told CVG that Elite is: "direct result of player input," and that it "tarted out with a desire to give back" to players.
Call of Duty Elite, as well as Modern Warfare 3, is released on November 8.
