Drummer Mike Chiplin Leaves Lost Prophets

Skater kids everywhere are crying into their caps after the shock announcement that Mike Chiplin, drummer with the LostProphets has left the band.

The band released the following statement revealing the news: “Lostprophets regret to announce the departure of drummer and founding member Mike Chiplin from the band. As the lads have all grown up together, the departure is an amicable one with Mike leaving to pursue other musical opportunities."

The band are currently in the process of writing new material for the follow up to ‘Start Something’ and hope to begin recording for a release date of early 2006.
