Dananananaykroyd have announced that they will be splitting up after their upcoming UK tour.
The group, who are due to play a series of dates across the country next month, announced the decision on their Facebook page.
“After this UK tour we will be splitting up,” the band said. “I'm proud to say we are a bunch of best friends who sound better right now that we ever have and we will play this last tour harder than we've ever played.”
No explanation was given for why the band have decided to call it a day.
Dananananaykroyd formed in 2006 in Glasgow, Scotland, and released two albums together – 2009's 'Hey Everyone' and 'There Is A Way' in 2011.
Dananananaykroyd's UK tour begins in Bristol on October 12 and will conclude in Newcastle on November 12.
