Leona Lewis has delayed the release of her her new album 'Glassheart'.
The former X Factor winner's third album was due to be released on November 28 but she has now decided to work on new material for the album and will now release it in early 2012.
Lewis told fans over Twitter: n Twitter: "Just wanted to update everyone on the album! I'm feeling so inspired right now and have decided to continue recording!
"I have a collection of songs that I'm so in love with and I no there's more to be born so it means the album will come early next year (sic)."
The album sees her team up with songwriters and producers, including Emeli Sande, Ryan Tedder, Ammo, Fraser T Smith, Steve Robson, Autumn Rowe and Sandy Vee.
'Glassheart' includes Lewis's new single 'Collide', which is out this month.
