Sugababes star Jade Ewen has insisted that she has not quit the girl group.
The singer was forced to issue an official denial today (September 21) after rumours circulated on Twitter over night that she had left the band.
The speculation intensified after Little Boots posted on her own Twitter account: “Yes guys its true, i'm replacing jade in the sugababes.”
In a message this morning, Ewen said: “Wow! So who started this rumour guys?? The only place this Sugababe is going is to the studio with the girls to work on our new album!”
Sugababes are due to release their new single 'Freedom' later this month. The song is taken from their forthcoming album.
