Adele briefly halted the first of three hometown shows in London last night (September 19) to assist a fan who had fainted.
The singer played tracks from both her chart-topping albums in front of a packed crowd at London's Hammersmith Apollo last night.
Before singing track 'Rumour Has It', the London singer stopped as she noticed some commotion in the stalls.
She asked the crowd: ''Has someone fainted?''
Medics then rushed over to help the fan. Adele then added: ''That's proper rock 'n' roll.''
Other tracks in the set included 'Turning Tables', 'Chasing Pavements', 'Rumour Has It', 'Love Song' followed by an encore of 'Rolling In The Deep' and 'Someone Like You'.
The shows mark the Adele's live return to the stage after she was forced to postpone the first six dates in the jaunt due to a severe chest infection.
Adele's UK tour will continue tonight (September 20) with a second night at Hammersmith Apollo.
Meanwhile, Adele, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry are among the acts to receive multiple nominations for this year's MTV EMAs.
