Nas is writing his autobiography and is expected to tacks his infamous feud with Jay-Z.
The rapper is working on the book, entitled It Ain't Hard to Tell, with music journalist Touré.
"This is hip-hop history," Touré wrote on Twitter. "I've been talking to Nas about writing his autobiography for 15 years … We'll tell his life and deconstruct some songs."
Rap Radar reports that as well as his battle with Jay-Z, the book will also document his mother's battle with cancer and four-year marriage to Kelis.
Nas's It Ain't Hard To Tell is released Atria Books in autumn 2012.

Boogie Down Productions vs. Juice Crew: The fierce rivalry between the two collectives from 1985 onwards set the benchmark for future hip-hop feuds. Known as The Bridge Wars, the beef arose from a dispute over the true birthplace of hip-hop; whether it was BDP's South Bronx or Juice Crew's Queensbridge. Over the ensuing years, a string of strong-worded tracks were released from both sides, vehemently deriding their rivals. In 2007, the feud reached an unlikely end when BDP's KRS-One and Juice Crew's Marley-Marl recorded the album together 'Hip-Hop Lives'.
